Meet KateLynn | Lead Designer & Owner

Based in Framingham, MA, I am the proud owner of Spaces By Kate, serving clients throughout MetroWest, Greater Boston, and Boston. As a mom to two sweet boys, I have built my business on the belief that every home should reflect both function and joy. My journey into design grew out of a lifelong love for interiors and architecture, combined with the desire to show my children that it is never too late to pivot and follow your dreams.

For me, design is not just about what a home looks like, but how it makes you feel when you walk through the door. I love creating spaces that are both stylish and deeply personal to the people who live in them. Kitchens and bathrooms allow me to bring together function and beauty in ways that improve everyday living. Bedrooms are especially meaningful, as I enjoy designing retreats that help clients recharge and feel at peace. Living rooms are another favorite, as they provide opportunities to craft spaces where families of all ages can comfortably spend time together. The most rewarding part of this work is seeing the joy and excitement on a client’s face when their vision comes to life.

Outside of design, I enjoy antiquing, traveling with my family, and creating art in my neighbor’s SheShed. I stay inspired by attending open houses, touring historic homes, and connecting with fellow designers across New England and North America. These experiences keep my perspective fresh and fuel the creativity I bring to every project.
